The aeronautical engineer, Marta Torres Puyales, took over the management of Ibiza airport on the 7th of May from Roberto Llamas, who has moved to a managerial role at Palma de Mallorca Airport.
Born in Madrid, she obtained her degree in aeronautical engineering at the Technical University of Madrid and has spent a large part of her professional career in the airport management area.
Torres joined AENA in April 2001 and has held several positions of responsibility including Head of the Planning Techniques & Studies Development Division, manager of Infrastructure Planning, and Head of the Infrastructure and Intermodal Planning Technical Support Division.
AENA appointed Julián Torres Santos-Olmo to take over from Marta Torres at the Federico García Lorca (FGL) Granada-Jaén Airport on the 7th of May.
Born in Valdepeñas (Ciudad Real), he holds an aeronautical engineering degree from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and has spent a large part of his professional career working in airport management.
