The 16th edition of the Riviera Maya Jazz Festival takes place from November 30 to December 2 this year, and we’re ready to enjoy hours and hours of jazz!
This world famous event in Mexico’s most attractive tourist destination invites you to enjoy the best world-class jazz musicians in the magical Mexican Caribbean.
The Riviera Maya Jazz Festival has been held in Playa del Carmen since 2013 and generally coincides with Thanksgiving weekend to offer a different and artistic way of celebrating this date.
The format for the event is focussed on a series of outdoor concerts next to the beach with a mix of musical genres, nationalities, and above all, good vibes.
Here’s the line-up for this edition of the festival at Playa Mamitas.
- November 30: Bebel Gilberto, Lori Williams, Kike Pat, and Bob Baldwin.
- December 1: Norah Jones, Paco Rosas & PK Band, Cristina Morrison, and Drew Tucker & The New Standard.
- December 2: Bobby McFerrin, Lalah Hathaway, and Pepe Hernández.
The festival organisers expect more than 15,000 people to attend each day. This year again the festival pays tribute to the founder and organiser, Fernando Toussaint, who passed away a few years ago.
Just like previous years, admission is free, there’s no need for tickets, and you have no excuse to miss out on this festival full of Caribbean vibes and with a great atmosphere!
