Expensive is an understatement. Perhaps it would have been more accurate to say “mind-blowingly expensive” The prices are detailed below, as well as yacht facilities that border on the obscene.
These days, it’s not too difficult to get a flashy car. They are more or less affordable thanks to financing plans, second hand vehicles, and great deals available online.
People might even start to think you are a big shot just because you drive a certain brand of car or wear designer clothes. It’s now pretty commonplace, and people might even be tricked into thinking you are a millionaire.
But if you really want to show off, flaunt your status and have an unmistakable symbol of wealth, then owning a yacht never fails to impress. The most expensive luxury yachts are the preserve of members of royalty, Russian oligarchs and multimillionaires. And some of the flashiest are listed below…
Azzam
This yacht was sold with a price tag of around 590 million euros. It is a yacht that has every luxury, is one of the most expensive in the world and is also one of the fastest on the sea, despite being 180 metres long.
It is the work of the shipowners at Nauta Yacht, and its exquisite interiors are the work of luxury designer Christophe Leoni. It was previously owned by Jalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, president of the United Arab Emirates.
Dubai
Let’s continue with another luxury yacht owned by someone from the UAE. On this occasion the yacht is called Dubai. The ship is worth some 300 million euros and is owned by Mohammed bin Rashid, another important politician from the same nation.
Its previous owner was another Arab leader, Jefri Bolkiah, the brother of the Sultan of Brunei. The yacht was designed by Andrew Winch, and has facilities can accommodate up to 150 guests in complete luxury. It has a heliport and several suites with jacuzzis.
The History Supreme
This yacht, designed by British shipbuilder Stuart Hughes, is one of the best recognised in the luxury yacht sector, and is truly outrageous in terms of its stats and characteristics.

It is rumoured to be owned by the wealthy Malaysian businessman Robert Kuok, and was built with over 10,000 kilos of sold gold and platinum.

Serene
This yacht is worth a cool 295 million euros and is owned by the Russian magnate Yuri Shefler, owner of the SPI Group, a multinational that sells alcohol in 160 countries.
